What are the advantages of a portable oxygen concentrator vs. tank delivery?

Tanks have a limited amount of oxygen and need to be refilled when empty. When you are away from home and the tank is running low, you may have a potential problem. 

Benefits to a Portable Oxygen Concentrator

- With a POC, you have a battery, AC and DC power cords. As long as you have a power source, the oxygen supply will be unlimited.

- Traveling with a POC is a reality. All of our POCs are FAA cleared for air travel. You can take them on a plane or a cruise. Taking long road trips or going camping are once again an option.

- Tank deliveries involve calling, scheduling and waiting for your tanks to arrive. With a POC, this is not necessary. Portability is the biggest factor when owning a POC.

- You can continue working. Many patients feel that they have to quit their job as bringing tanks or a home concentrator to work is untenable. With a POC, you can now continue to work.
