Should I get a portable or a home compressor?

If you are always home to take your medication, a home compressor is sufficient. They are less expensive and work well.

If you are away from home consistently and need to take your medicine throughout the day, a portable machine is an excellent option. Most portables have a battery option or a DC power cord for your vehicle. Many have both options. Portable machines are also FAA cleared.

There are portable Jet Nebulizers as well as Ultrasonic Nebulizers. If you want something that is virtually silent, an Ultrasonic Nebulizer is the best option. Ultrasonic Nebs are whisper quiet which is extremely beneficial when having to take treatments during the night and not wanting to disturb anyone else.
