How to Assemble the CoughAssist Mask Replacement Kit?

The CoughAssist Mask Replacement Kit is easy to assemble. The kit is made up of a mask, 6-foot flexible tubing, a mask adapter, and a bacterial filter.

1. First attach the mask to the mask adapter, and then attach the adapter to either end of the flexible tubing. (The CoughAssist also works with a mouthpiece, endotracheal tube, and tracheostomy tube).

2. Next attach the other end of the flexible tubing to the bacteria filter.

3. Finally attach the bacteria filter inlet to the Patient Circuit Connection on the side of the CoughAssist device. Note: Refer to the instructions included with the CoughAssist Mask Replacement Kit for more information.
