Wash the breathing hose and patient interface thoroughly with liquid dishwashing soap and water after every use. Make sure they completely air dry before using them again. Do not clean the bacteria filter. This filter keeps material from the patient from entering the device, and you can leave it in place as long as it is not blocked by mucus or fluid.
