How To Maintain Philips Respironics Millennium M10 Concentrator?
Due to its easy-to-use design, the Respironics M10 Oxygen Concentrator requires minimal maintenance. First, make sure the concentrator is situated in an open, well-ventilated space to prevent the accumulation of dirt and dust on the outer cabinet. Place it away from walls and corners, where there may be inadequate airflow that can clog the air filter and make the device overheat. If necessary, clean the cabinet with a moist sponge or cloth. Make sure to disconnect the concentrator before doing any maintenance or cleaning.
The air filter is located behind a detachable cover on the concentrator's side. Remove the device's cap and pull the air filter out to clean it. Replace it if it has been ripped or damaged in any way. Before reinstalling, clean the filter with warm, soapy water and let it dry completely. Replace the filter cap after reinstalling the unit and plug it back in. Filters need to be cleaned once every week.
Check your oxygen tubing often for kinks or rips. Use only new tubing and nasal cannulas; any damage might compromise your therapy. If necessary, clean and replace the tubing.
