What Is The Battery Duration For SeQual Eclipse 5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator?
The battery duration chart (shown below) provides the estimated battery life for the SeQual Eclipse 5, depending on your oxygen needs. At most, users are able to go approximately 5 hours between charges or at minimum, approximately an hour. While it may be tempting to switch your settings to extend the life of your battery, we recommend consulting your doctor first, as you want to ensure that you are receiving the most efficient and effective oxygen therapy for your needs.
In addition to the battery, the Caire SeQual Eclipse 5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator also comes equipped with an AC power cord for use at home and a DC power cord for use on the road. If external power is interrupted for any reason, the internal battery will automatically overpower the device.
Additional batteries are available for purchase for individuals to keep on hand as spares. To recharge your battery, simply plug the SeQual Eclipse 5 into an external AC or DC power source. If your device is connected to DC power, the battery will only recharge while the concentrator is on a setting of 2.0LPM or less. The battery can take anywhere between 2 to 5 hours to charge fully. The Caire SeQual Eclipse also comes with 4 alarms that alert the user to a power malfunction, including low battery and external power failure.
